Mrs. John Faulkner, the former Catherine Prudence Bradley, died at her home, 20 Oak Street, yesterday. She was in her 81st year. Born and educated in Goulbourn Township, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Bradley. A member of the Metropolitan Tabernacle, she was married in 1889, in Hazeldean, Ont., to the late John Faulkner.
She is survived by one son, Clifford of Ottawa; eight daughters, Mrs. Arthur Bray, Mrs. Jack Healey, Mrs. Albert Hay, Mrs. Herbert Stewart, Mrs. George Slack, all of Ottawa; Mrs. Orville James of Stittsville, Ont.; Mrs. Ford Wing of Lyndhurst, Ont., and Mrs. Sydney Healy of Pembroke, Ont.; three brothers, Thomas Bradley of Ottawa; William Bradley of Grenfell, Sask., and Roy Bradley of Toronto; two sisters, Mrs. Wesley Akins of Ottawa, and Mrs. Reuben Ralph of Stittsville. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The body is resting at the Radmore Stewart Funeral Home, 1323 Wellington Street, where the funeral will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 2:30 pm. Rev. James Vold, of the Metropolitan Tabernacle, will officiate. Burial will be in Merivale Cemetery.
