Loving mother of Wilma (Robert) Kelly, Brampton; Ross (Hilda) Simpson, Ashton; Glenyce (Leslie) MacDonald, Oshawa; Marilyn (Allen Renaud), Petawawa and Robert Simpson, California. Dear sister of Lola Flewellyn. Dear grandmother of Neil and Christine Simpson; David Kelly, Andrea (John) Bourrie, Carolyn Kelly-Zammit (Rocky); and Walter and Wendy MacDonald. Great-grandmother of Allan and Jessica Simpson. Predeceased by a son Donald and by brothers Leslie and Everette Flewellyn and by a sister Ethel MacGregor. Friends may call at the Kerry Funeral Home, 61 Lake Avenue West, Carleton Place for visiting on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thence to rest at Ashton United Church on Wednesday at 1 p.m. until time of Complete Funeral Service at 2 p.m., Rev. Jim Baldwin officiating. Interment United Cemeteries, Carleton Place at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to Ashton United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

    Ruby married Allan Byron Simpson on 31 Jul 1937 in Richmond, Goulbourn Township, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada. Allan (son of Wesley Simpson and Emma Elizabeth Robertson) was born on 4 Aug 1913 in Goulbourn Township, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada; died on 8 Feb 1971 in Ashton, Goulbourn Township, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada; was buried on 11 Feb 1971 in United Cemeteries, Beckwith Township, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
