    Passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Sunday March 4th, 2012. Ruth McArton of Stirling, in her 92nd year. Daughter of the late Alton & Eda Matthews. Beloved wife of Stuart McArton. Loving mother of Marj (Alex) Fleming of Cornwall, Bob (Susan) McArton of Alberta and William (Elizabeth) McArton of Parry Sound. Predeceased by daughter Joan Sager and brother Allan Matthews. Survived by son in law David Sager and sister in law Jean Matthews. Ever remembered by her 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren... Cremation has taken place. Memorial Service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, Stirling on Thursday March 29th, 2012 at 11:00 a.m.

    Ruth married Stuart John McArton on 21 Oct 1939. Stuart (son of John Arthur Wilson McArton and Mary Jane Doherty) was born in 1917; died on 26 Jul 2015 in Bellville, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada; was buried in Auld Kirk Cemetery, Ramsay, Mississippi Mills, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
