Olive Foster (nee Bolger) of Arnprior and formerly of Almonte in her 94th year. Predeceased by her husband Melvin Foster from a previous marriage. Dear mother of Shirley (Robert) Yach of Griffith, Marion (Dyon) Bracken of Niagra Falls and Glen (Ann) of Almonte. Dear grandmother of Trevor, Chris, Terry and Julie. Predeceased by a grandson Brent. Great grandmother of Meadow, Willow and Jonathan. Dear sister of Howard Bolger of Almonte. Resting at The Boyce Funeral Home Ltd. Chapel, Visitation and Reception Centre 138 Daniel St N., Arnprior where friends may pay their respects on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 from 1-3 p.m. Service will be held in The Boyce Chapel at 3 p.m. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte.

    BOLGER, Howard Campbell Peacefully at Fairview Manor, Almonte, on Thursday, August 6, 2009 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Valma. Dear father of Brian (Janet), Judy Robertson (Don), and Connie Allison (Grant). Loving grandfather of Joanne (Rick), Rodney, Mya, Kira, Sheena, Natasha, Bryan and great-grandfather of Carlee, Ericka and Jayna. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Martha Bolger, brothers Kenneth, William, Herbert, Beven, and sisters Lena, Olive, Pearl and Annie. Friends may call at the Almonte Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 154 Elgin St., Almonte on Sunday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. Interment Guthrie United Cemetery.     The death of Keith Melvin Foster of 80 Linwood Street, St. Catharines, occurred on Saturday, September 6th, 1975, at his residence. He was in his 31st year. Born in Almonte on September 18th, 1944, he was the son of Melvin Foster and Olive Bolger of Almonte, who survive him. Keith was educated locally at S.S.#9 and at Almonte High School. He worked at General Motors in St. Catharines and attended the United Church there as well. He is survived by his parents; by sisters Marion, (Mrs. Peter Ireland) of Queenston; Shirley, (Mrs. Robert Yach) of Munster; and by brother Glen at home. Also surviving are nephews Christopher and Terry Ireland and one niece Julie Yach. The funeral was held from the Comba Funeral Home on Thursday, September 11th at 2 o'clock with interment in Auld Kirk Cemetery, Rev. Robt. J. McCrea officiating. Pallbearers were Raymond Clement, Michael Gleeson, Brian McGregor, Jimmy Foster, Earl Foster and Brian Bolger.
