Helen Irene McFarlane, former Special Education Teacher with the Ottawa Board of Education, at age 91. Beloved wife of the late John Campbell Sutherland. Dear mother of Paul (Irmgard) Sutherland, Phoenix, Arizona, U.S.A. and Patricia (Mrs. Robert Morton), Stittsville. Loving grandmother of Bruce and Jennifer Morton and Dan, Suzette and Sonja Sutherland. Great-grandmother of Sydney and Jamie Urbanek. Dear sister of Doris Woods, Ottawa. Predeceased by 2 brothers Willie, Kelly and by 1 sister Pearl. Friends called at the KERRY FUNERAL HOME, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte for visiting on Sunday. Funeral Service was in the Chapel on Monday: Rev. S. Derek Shelly officiated. Cremation, Ottawa. Interment of ashes in Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte.
