With quiet dignity and great courage, at home in Kingston on Saturday, July 18, 1992, Douglas Gordon (Ben) Cunningham, in his 85th year, beloved husband of Isabelle Simpson, loving father of two sons Douglas and his wife Jane and Ian, and daughter Kathleen Madden all of Kingston; loving Poppa Ben to seven adored grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Robert J. Reid and Sons Funeral Home, 309 Johnson Street, (at Barrie), on Monday from 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in Sydenham Street United Church, on Wednesday, July 22 at 2:30 p.m. followed by Cremation. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to the Kingston Corps of the Salvation Army, 202-736 Princess Street, Kingston, K7L 1G2; Sydenham Street United Church, 82 Sydenham Street, Kingston, K7L 3H4; or a charity of your choice.
