MRS. LLOYD GILES
Mrs Lloyd Giles, R.R. 2, Almonte died in the Civic Hospital Ottawa, On Saturday, October 4, following a lengthy illness. She was 59 years of age.
Born in Ramsay Township, she was a daughter of the Late Mr. and Mrs. Archie Byron. The former Katie Maybelle Byron, she received her education in the rural schools. She was a lifelong and popular resident of this district and was a member of St. George's Anglican Church, Clayton, where she took an active part. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Giles.
The funeral was held from the Comba Funeral Home, Almonte,to St. Paul's Anglican Church, Almonte with Canon J.W.R. Meakin conducting the service at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, October 6th.
Interment was made in the Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte.
