    WILLIAMSON, Robert "Bob" Dow
    December 9, 1927 - October 6, 2018
    Bob was the 2nd of 5 sons of Willetta Lucas (Shawville) and Norman Williamson (Carleton Place). He leaves behind his cherished children; Mark, Cathy (Doug), David and Dean, his adored grandchildren Levi, Kyle, Brittany, Annica, Lucas and Rowan and great-granddaughter Hailey, who will all miss him immensely. Bob was predeceased by his parents, his 4 brothers; Luke, Jim, Ted and Bill, his son Colin and his beloved wife of 56 years, Lois (nee Caswell). His body was donated to the School of Anatomy at the University of Ottawa and he hopes that all sign their organ donor cards. Bob was an avid Bridge player, worked in the Insurance business for over 50 years and was a volunteer extraordinaire! He volunteered for over 60 years with Scouts Canada, was on various Board of Directors including TELCI, the ODAMR and the Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa. He was a former member and President of both the Carlingwood & Carleton Kiwanis and Life Member of Kiwanis International, as well as on many Skate Canada Host Committees, hosting International Competitions in Ottawa. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday December 9, from 1 - 4 p.m., at the Ottawa Boys & Girls Club, 1463 Prince of Wales Dr, Ottawa. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Scouts Canada - Camp Opemikon and/or the Boys & Girls Club of Ottawa.     Paul Mackie Williamson, age 85, Clearfield, Kentucky, husband of the late Vileta Cooper Williamson, passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011, at his residence.

    Born October 17, 1925, in Stamford, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Paul and Jeanette Mackie Williamson.

    Paul made the Army his career serving as a Captain with the Army Corps of Engineers. Most of his active duty was spent in Germany and North Korea. He attended the United Methodist Church.

    Paul is survived by one daughter, Bonnie W. Halpin and her husband Robert of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, one son, Paul A. Williamson and his wife Elizabeth of Plano, Texas, and one granddaughter, Sarah Rose and her husband Phillip of Lubbock, Texas, one sister, Mary Turner and her husband Edward of Blairsville, Georgia.

    Funeral services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 27, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. Bruce Nettleton officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with full military honors by Morehead American Legion Post No. 126.

    Visitation is after 5 p.m. Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
