Vera Patricia Trumper Murray died on Oct. 15, 2007 after a long battle with lung disease. She graduated school in Douglas and attended the University of Wyoming. Later she moved to California and worked at North American Airlines building airplanes during World War II. There she met M. J. "Murph" Murray and they were married on May 4, 1943 in Yuma, Arizona. She returned to Douglas and worked at the POW Camp and awaited Murph's return from the Air Force. Pat and Murph made their home in and around Wyoming where Murph worked for different drilling companies. Then they started Murray Drilling Service, which they operated together until their retirement. They turned the company over to their daughter Kay and her husband Rob Bourquin. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Kay Bourquin and her husband Rob of Casper; brother O'Donell Trumper, of Tucson, Ariz.; grandchildren James Bourquin and Veronica Bourquin Hancock and her husband K. C.; great-grandchildren Taylor Bourquin and Shelbee, Bradlee and Mckaylee Hancock. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Murph. Maurice was born on 17 Jul 1918 in Nebraska, United States; died on 11 Aug 1998 in Casper, Natrona County, Wyoming, United States; was buried in Douglas Park Cemetery, Douglas, Converse County, Wyoming, United States.
