    Daughter of Edward and Martha (n?e Law) Kenny; wife of the late John Andrew Buckham.

    Her daughter, Creighton Jean ('Jane') McGraw of Adera Street in Vancouver, was the informant on her death certificate, Cremation took place on 12 May 1964 at the Ocean View Burial Park in Burnaby, British Columbia.

    DFC (Distinguished Flying Cross) presented by King George at Buckingham Palace, 9 November 1943;

    invested with Bar by Canadian Governor General, 10 December 1947.

    Squadron Leader Buckham DFC & Bar, DFC (USA), a passenger aboard Beechcraft 'Expeditor' MkII (#1394) aircraft which was flying from Whitehorse to Teslin, both in the Yukon Territory, lost his life when the Expeditor crashed in a heavy snowstorm. Five servicemen and one civilian perished in this aircraft accident. The name of the civilian is not known at this time, but the four airmen were:-
    Leading Aircraftman Charles Curtis BROOKING,
    Flight Lieutenant Richard Lewis CURTIN,
    Flying Officer Alfred Henry HARTVIKSEN and
    Flight Sergeant Joe MILNER.

    Squadron Leader Robert Andrew Buckham, DFC & Bar, is commemorated on Page 594 of Canada's Second World War Book of Remembrance.
