- Mrs. Margaret MacPherson, a registered nurse and former resident of Point Pleasant, N.J., died yesterday at Pacifica Hospital, here. She was 76. She was bom in Almont, Ontario, and lived most of her life in Point Pleasant before moving to California two years ago. Mrs. MacPherson had worked as a nurse at Point Pleasant Hospital for 12 years. She had been a member of the Harvey Memorial Methodist Church, Point Pleasant. Surviving are her husband, Earl MacPherson; a son, Ronald MacPherson, San Diego; a daughter, Dianne Flint, with whom she lived; a sister, Millie Clayton, Ottawa, Ontario; a brother, Albert Duncan, Carlton Place, Ontario, and seven grandchildren. The Dillday Funeral Home, here, is in charge of arrangements.
Margaret married Earl James MacPherson in 1929. Earl was born on 19 May 1884 in Pennsylvania, United States; was christened on 29 Aug 1893 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States; died on 9 May 1975 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California, United States.
