On Sunday, October 14, 1990, in hospital, Shawville, Quebec, in his 80th year, beloved husband of Lillian Wallace. Carpenter, Charter Member of Shawville Lions Club, he was noted for his dedication to his church and community service, work through the Lions Club. He was greatly loved father of Frances Reid (Bill), Audrey Sharpe (Brent), John (Freda) and Robert (Lau-'reen) . Grampa Dean will be fondly remembered by his 1 1 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren, as well by the children from the Stark's Corners community. Predeceased by 2 brothers, Clarence and Ernest and 2 sisters. Amy and Gladys and 1 granddaughter April. Surviving, his sister Lila and brothers Leslie (Ethel) and Ronald (Mona) and sisters-in-law Marjorie Woodman and Sadie Dean. Friends may call at W.J. Hayes & Sons Funeral Home. Shawville. Quebec, Monday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 30 p.m. Lions Service Monday, 9 p.m. Funeral Tuesday. October 16, at 2 p.m. for service at Stark's Corners United Church, Interment Stark's Corners United Cemetery. In lieu of tlowers donations to the Stark's Corners United Church Memorial Fund or the Pontiac Reception Centre, Shawville, Quebec, greatly appreciated.

Lennis married Lillian Margaret Wallace in 1940 in Pontiac County, Quebec, Canada. Lillian (daughter of Thomas Forest Wallace and Isabella Agnes "Bella" Corrigan) was born on 16 Jan 1912 in Shawville, Clarendon Township, Pontiac County, Quebec, Canada; died in 1996 in Shawville, Clarendon Township, Pontiac County, Quebec, Canada; was buried in Stark's Corners Community Cemetery / Stark's Corners United Church Cemetery, Starks Corners, Clarendon Township, Potiac County, Ontario, Canada.
