    Mr. Kenneth James Wakeham, 91, of Fort Gratiot, died Monday, August 4, 2008.
    He was born November 15, 1916 to the late James E. and Olive Wakeham. He married Margaret Gordon on August 2, 1937 in Port Huron. She died June 4, 2004.
    Mr. Wakeham was a tool and die maker with Prestolite Wire Company. He retired to Florida, where he lived for 23 years. He loved cars and was interested in the history of Port Huron. He held strong opinions and didn't hesitate to share them.

    He is survived by two daughters, Beverly (Marlin) Lambert of Fort Gratiot and Carol Sheridan of Port Huron; two sons, Thomas (Patricia) Wakeham, Sr. of Fort Gratiot and David Wakeham and Mary Klein of Marysville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

    He was preceded in death by a grandson, Steven Lambert; two brothers, Gerald and Robert Wakeham; and a son-in-law, Patrick Sheridan.

    Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2008 in Lakeside Cemetery Chapel with visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m.

    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Clair County Allied Veterans Council.

    Beverly Sue Lambert, 75, of Fort Gratiot, died Monday, April 28, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 14, 1939 in Port Huron to the late Kenneth and Margaret Wakeham and was a lifelong area resident. She married Marlin Lambert on July 27, 1957 in Port Huron.

    Beverly worked as an office manager for several local insurance companies and Dungan Chiropractic before her retirement in 2000. She enjoyed quilting and sewing, gardening, and spending the last few winters in Apache Junction, Arizona.

    She is survived by her husband, Marlin, daughter, Sue, two brothers, Thomas (Pat) Wakeham, David Wakeham, and one sister, Carol Sheridan.

    She was preceded in death by her son, Steven M Lambert in 2005, and a brother-in-law, Patrick Sheridan.

    Funeral services were held on May 1, 2014 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with the Reverend Max Amstutz officiating. Burial is in Kinney Cemetery,Clyde Township.

    Steven M. Lambert, 45, of Fort Gratiot, died Saturday, January 22, 2005 in Port Huron Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

    He was born February 21, 1959 in Port Huron to Marlin and Beverly (Wakeham) Lambert.

    Steven graduated from Port Huron Northern High School in 1977. He received an associate's degree from St. Clair County Community College, a bachelor's degree from Ferris State University and a master's degree from Bowling Green State University. He was employed by Marathon Oil Company as a computer information systems developer in Houston, Texas and Findlay, Ohio.

    He returned home four months ago due to his illness.

    He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Lambert; a sister, Susan, a niece, Sarah; grandfather, Kenneth Wakeham, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and wonderful friends in Houston and Findlay. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margaret Wakeham on June 4, 2004.

    Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 25, 2005 Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Dr. Catherine Dungan
    McPhail officiated. Burial was in Kinney Cemetery. Pallbearers were Cory Ray, Frank Lambert III, Mark Lambert, Rick Miller, Jim Jeffries and Neal Ward.
