    It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Raymond Joseph Dupuis in hospital at Carleton Place, Ontario on Sunday, May 7, 2006 at the age of 56 years after a short battle with cancer. Devoted and loving husband of Nancy McKenzie and an inspiration to his children, Lisa (Darren Gouin) of Calgary, AB, Jennifer (Trevor Ellsworth) of Edmonton, AB and Michael, CFB Borden, Ontario. The best "Poppa" ever to his grandchildren Braeden and Gage Gouin and Jacob, Shayne and Nathan Ellsworth. Always to be remembered by his special step-granddaughter Taylor Bridges. Loving and ever caring son of Gabriel and Rita (Leblanc) Dupuis of Innisfil, Ontario. Survived by his brother Emile and sisters Roseanne (Yvon Cantin), Kathy (John Phillips) and Diane (Les Courts). Special son-in-law of Janetta McKenzie (late Bob) of Stittsville, Ontario. Highly respected brother-in-law of Robbie McKenzie (Jane Cunningham), Donald McKenzie (Cindy), Kenny McKenzie, Ron McKenzie (Wendy) and Janet Smith (Jim). Survived by many caring and supportive aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the ALAN R. BARKER FUNERAL HOME 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, Ontario on Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at Zion-Memorial United Church, Carleton Place on Thursday at 2 p.m. with Reverend Robert Risch officiating. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte. Donations to the CARE Fund Zion-Memorial United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society-Brain Tumor Research, 1745 Woodward Drive, Ottawa, K2C 0P9 would be appreciated.
