    Died:
    Mrs. Mary Ann Roeth, aged 84, another old-timer of this district, passed away on August 19th, following a lengthy illness. Born in Ontario in 1874, she moved to Didsbury in 1907, with her husband and family. She had been a resident of Didsbury and district ever since.
    She is survived by two sons, Clarence of Didsbury and Leslie of Seattle, Wash., and one grandson of Didsbury. She was predeceased by one daughter in 1935 and by her husband in 1950.

Graveside services are June 15th. at 1 p.m. at Lake View Cemetery and Memorial Service at 2 p.m. at Bayview Manor. Donations to your favorite charity.

    Leslie Roeth married Eleanor A. Chandler. He had one stepson Bill Chandler; two grandchildren, Steve (Janis) and Carol Chandler, and one great grandaughter, Becki.
    He always wanted to reach his 100th birthday but unfortunately died two years before his 100th. He was a good guy.

    After his wife (Eleanor) passed away he spent much time traveling around the world. He was very interested in other cultures.

    He was an electrician by trade. He was born in Canada, but became a naturalized citizen of the United States.
