    Suddenly, in hospital, Smiths Falls surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, October 19, 2009 Gordon Simpson in his 77th year. Beloved husband for over 50 years of the late Fay (Salter) Simpson. Loved father of Glenda (Earl) Bak of Smiths Falls, Karen Barber (Grant Clark) of Smiths Falls, Brian (Julie) Simpson of Carleton Place and the late Pauline Simpson Benda. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Jason and Allison Bak, Natasha Barber and Adam and Ashli Simpson. Dear brother of Lloyd (Claire) Simpson of Ottawa, Marion (Harold) Plunkett of Ottawa and Fern Simpson of Smiths Falls. Predeceased by brother Noel Simpson and sisters Reta Sample and Phyllis McGrath. Special Friend of Fran (Eagle) Harper. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, family and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 112 Beckwith St. N., Smiths Falls on Friday, October 23rd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, October 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Hillcrest Cemetery.     Peacefully at Fairview Manor, Almonte, on Thursday, November 18th. Beloved wife of Ronald for 70 years. Dear mother of Dale (Mary), Keith and Brent (Janie). Proud Grandma of Kimberly, Jennifer, Allyson, Robbie, Matthew, Abbey and by 11 great-grandchildren. Jean was born, June 14, 1933, in Goulburn, Ontario to parents Noel and Isabel (n?e Campbell) Coyles. She is survived by her sisters, Kay Cavanagh and Anna Johnson and predeceased by sister Dorothy Lynch and brother Denzel Coyles. She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews extended family and friends.

    Jean was a wonderful wife and mother. She was a talented cook and could create the most incredible apple pies ? a family favourite. When not in the kitchen baking or cleaning, she and Ron could be found spending a lot of time sitting around a card table with good friends ? something they enjoyed and Jean could sure play a good hand of Bridge.

    Our family would like to thank the staff at the Fairview Manor for their kindness and compassion during Jean's stay there. It meant a lot knowing she was so well cared for.

    A private family service will be held at a later date.

Predeceased by his parents Wilmer and Edith (Coyles) Campbell, sister Audrey (Ralph Horner), brother Doug (survived by Marj). Arnie will be lovingly remembered by his in-laws, many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

    Arnie was a life-long farmer and a very active member of the community. He served on many local boards including Lanark Soil and Crop, Lanark Milk Committee and was a board member of Lanark Mutual. Arnie also served as an elected member of Drummond Township from 1976-1997, he served on Lanark County Council and was Lanark County warden in 1996.

    An immeasurable sadness has been left by his passing.

    Friends may visit the family at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place, on Wednesday July 3rd from 6-8 p.m., Thursday July 4th from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral will be held in the chapel on Friday July 5th at 1 p.m. Internment following the service at Dewars Cemetery.

    Obituary of Spencer Alexander Munro
    Munro, Spencer A.
    Spencer passed away in Perth on Tuesday May 26th, 2020 at the age of 34 years. He will be sadly missed by his family including his parents David and Shirley Munro, brother Allan (Kelly), grandparents Clarence and Wilma Munro and Marjorie (late Doug) Campbell. He was the special uncle to Aiden, Dawson and Carson and will be fondly remembered by all his aunts, uncles, cousins, "honourary" nieces and nephews and many good friends.
    Due to the covid-19 restrictions, the arrangements are private for the family. Those wishing are asked to consider memorial donations to Harvest House Rehabilitation Centre. They may be directed to Harvest House Ministries, 3435 Ramsayville Rd., Ottawa, ON, K1G 3N2. (613) 521-9114
