The funeral of John Robert Drummond was held Friday afternoon from the Fleming Bros. Funeral Home, Lake Avenue West, where Rev. E. C. Kelloway conducted the service. Interment took place in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Drummond died at his home, Miguel Street, May 3 in his 79th year. He was born in Goulburn Township, son of the late Malcolm Drummond and his wife, Elizabeth McEwan. He was yard foreman for many years with the Canadian Pacific Railway at Carleton Place.
He was married in 1902 to the former Catherine McLinton who survives him. Other survivors are two sons, Gordon and Arthur, and a daughter, Mrs. J. E. Drynan, of Carleton Place.

Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral, service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, August 8th, at 2 p.m. lnterment Hillcrest Cemetery. in memonam donations to Canadian National Institute for the Blind would be appreciated.
