Dear father of William (Nicole), Vanier; Donald (Norma), Lanark, and Kenneth (Theresa) , Maple Ridge, B.C. Dear brother of Jennie (Mrs. Albert Lotan) , Almonte, and Agnes (Mrs. James Currie) , Almonte. Predeceased by four brothers, Lawrence, William, Joseph and Kenneth and two sisters, Effie (Mrs. Jack Fulton) and Rachel (Mrs. Stewart Currie) . Also survived by five grandchildren. Friends may call at the Kerry Funeral Home, 14 Elgin Street, Almonte, for visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service in the chapel on Monday at 11 a.m., Rev. Clifford Evans oficiating. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. Donations made to Fairview Manor, Almonte, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.

    MELANSON, William (Bill) Clifford It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Bill Melanson on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the age of 71 years while on vacation in Mexico. Loving husband of Nicole (Dumas) Melanson for 35 years. Beloved stepfather to Christian (Ad?le) Pag?. Cherished Grandpapa Bill to the "apple of his eye" Am?lie Pag?. Brother of the late Donald Melanson (Norma) and the late Kenneth Melanson. Brother-in-law to Helen Lowe (the late Russell), R?jeanne Lacroix (the late Myles). Son of the late Clifford and the late Ethel (Gordon) Melanson. Bill will also be missed by his nephews, nieces and many friends who loved him greatly. Retired teacher, he leaves behind a legacy of 32 years with Lisgar Collegiate in Ottawa. At Bill's request, no service will be held. In Memory of Bill donations to the Ottawa Hospital Cancer Centre, General Campus would be appreciated.

    Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus on Saturday, July 19th, 2014 at the age of 65 years. Loving husband of Norma (Sargeant) Melanson for 42 years. Dearly loved father of Lorna (Patrick) Quinn and Adam (Alexendra) Melanson. Cherished Poppa of MacKenzie and Allison Quinn and Fraser Melanson. Brother of Bill (Nicole) and the late Kenneth Melanson. Son of the late Clifford and Ethel (Gordon) Melanson and son-in-law of the late Garnet and Kate (Echlin) Sargeant. He was brother-in-law of Leonard (Diane) Echlin, Darleen Sargeant (Ray Storie), Rick (Joan) Sargeant and the late Donna (Sargeant) Barr. Don will be sadly missed by his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may pay their respects at the Young Funeral Home, Lanark, Ontario on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Andrew's United Church, Lanark on Thursday at 10:00 A.M. Interment, Pinehurst Cemetery, Playfairville. In remembrance, contributions to the Oncology Unit of the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus would be appreciated.
