He is survived by his wife the former Hannah Baird of Kinburn, three children, Leonard of Kinburn; Willis of Napanee; Mrs. Don Symington, Calabogie; two brothers, Harold, Kinburn; Wilfred of Pakenham, two sisters, Mrs. Wm, Morphy of Carleton Place, Mrs. Clifford Campbell, Fitzroy Harbor, Rev. Dr. D. A. MacLellan, Kinburn conducted the funeral service. Interment was made in Pakenham.

    Peacefully at Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of the late Charlotte (nee Drew). Loving father of Harry, Robert, Brian (Sharlene), Pat (Ken), David, Richard, Chris (Allison) and Steven (Mary Ann). Proud grandfather of Brenda Lee, Jamie, Britney, Jeremy, Brandon, Dustin, Allison, Jennifer, Shelby Lynn, Johnathan, Maggie, Liam, Shelby Ann, Abby and Chloey as well as his 17 "precious" great-grandchildren. Survived by his sisters Jean (Stuart) and Kay (Rolly) and sisters-in-law Charlotte, Kathleen and Margaret. Bill was predeceased by his granddaughters Rebecca and Samantha, and brothers Russell, John and Gerald. He will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Family received friends on Wednesday, March 20 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and Thursday, March 21 from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. at McPhail & Perkins Funeral Home, 85 Munroe Ave. E., Renfrew.     Passed away peacefully Monday evening, March 5, 2018 at Orchard View Living on the Mississippi, Almonte surrounded by the love of his family. Russell Lesway of Kinburn at the age of 89. Beloved husband of 68 years to Charlotte (nee Cavanagh). Loving and proud father of Doreen (Mike), Hugh, Lynda (late Marvin), Ron (Patty), Gary (Linda), Grant, Karen (Rob) and Donnalea (Dean).     Beloved husband of Doris Lesway (nee Mills). Dear father of Dianne (Denis) Kerfoot of Woodlawn, Donald (Gwen) of Kinburn, Glen (Mavis) of Arnprior, Gail Lesway of Windsor, David (Lori) of Burlington, Mary Jane (Mike) VanRiemsdyk of Kanata, and Jennifer (John) Eastman of Kinburn.
    Much loved grandfather of Warren Lesway, Sarah (Darren) Ball, Lindsay (Paul) Ellis, Bryn Lesway, Mitch Lesway, Brandon, Allison and Andrew Cooper, Kyle, Cody and Kristen VanRiemsdyk, Avaleigh (Michael) Schouten and Kaitlyn and Victoria Eastman.

    Doris Symington silently slipped away on June 7, 2017, at the age of 76 to rejoin her husband Donald Symington, parents John Lesway and Hannah (nee Baird), and brothers Leonard and Willis Lesway. She will be greatly missed by her cherished sons Brent (Cheryl) and Blair (Andrea), loving grandchildren Vanessa, Jacob and Kathryn, as well as her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Doris is survived by sister-in- law Doris Lesway, and brother-in-law Claire (Faye) Symington. Special thanks to Dr. Manorie Edirisinghe for her compassionate support.
