    Emma Post and John Stewart were married December 25, 1907 in the R.M. Franklin. - Vital Stats. Marr. Cert. Reg. # 1908-002356.

    Obituary-
    On December 30, 1975 at the King George Hospital, Mrs. Emma Stewart, aged 92 years, of 376 Parkview Street, St. James, formerly of Woodmore and Dominion City.
    Mrs. Stewart was born in Woodmore.
    She was predeceased by her husband, John Stewart, in 1955 and by three brothers, Ellery Post, Edward Post and Ezra Post and two sisters, Mrs. Effie Spencer and Mrs. Ella Dickson.
    Mrs. Stewart is survived by two son, Lloyd at home and Chester in Dominion City; two daughters, Jean at home and Mrs. Henry Smith (Aileen) at Woodmore. There are also five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
    Viewing will take place before the funeral service at the church. Funeral service will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Dominion City United Church, with Rev. W. Whetter officiating. Interment in the Dominion City Cemetery.

    Obituary- Lloyd John Stewart
    Suddenly Wednesday Aug. 14 at his home, 376 Parkview Street, aged 75 years 8 months.
    He is survived by his sister, Jean at home, Aileen and husband Henry Smith of Woodmore, his brother Chester and his wife Dorothy of Dominion City; two nieces, three nephews, cousins and friends.
    Lloyd was in the 12th. Manitoba Dragoons and overseas in World War 2. He had been a member of the Legion since 1946. He quit farming at Woodmore and Dominion City in 1966 and worked at Versatile Manufacturing for five years.
    The funeral service was at Dominion City United Church Saturday at 2:00 p.m. Burial in the local cemetery.
    The pallbearers were Lorne and Hugh Lamont, Bruce Dickson, Glenn, Don, and Dave Stewart.
    Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to the Lung Association if desired.
    Thompson's Funeral Chapel in charge of arrangements.

    Obituary-
    Peacefully on Thursday Sept. 3, 2009 at the age of 92, passed away at the Vita and District Personal Care Home., Vita, Man.
    She was predeceased by her parents John and Emma, brother Lloyd and her sister Aileen (Henry) Smith.
    Left to mourn her passing is her brother, Chester (Dorothy) and many nieces and nephews.
    Jean was born and raised in Woodmore. In 1945 she moved with the family to Dominion City, where she resided until moving into the Franklin Manor in 1987, and where she enjoyed the many activities and friendship of other tenants.
    As her health began to fail, she was required to move into the Vita and District Personal Care Home.
    We the family would like to express sincere thanks to the nurses and staff for their excellent care she received while being a resident there.
    Cremation has taken place and a graveside service was held on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at 2 p.m. at the Dominion City Cemetery, Mb. with Rev. Bob Stark officiating.
    Should one desire donations may be made to the Dominion City United Church.

    Chester and Dorothy were married on July 2, 1946 at the Knox United Church in Winnipeg. Chester is formerly of Woodmore and Dorothy if from Dominion City. Besides operating a mixed farm at Dominion City, Dorothy returned to do some teaching and Chester drove a school bus for 12 years. They have three children, Glenn and Carmen, Dave and Carol, Donovan and Barb. They also have six grandchildren. They celebrated their 5oth. anniversary on July 2, 1996.
