    OBITUARY WILBERT HENRY BRYDGES

    A resident of Fairview Manor, Mr. Wilbert Henry Brydges, passed away at the Manor on
    Saturday, May 26, 1979. He was 84.
    Before retirement Mr. Brydges farmed in Ramsay Township. He was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, and was a veteran of the First World War.
    Born in Ramsay Township on January 1, 1895, he was a son of the late Samuel Brydges and his wife, Margaret Young. He received his education at S. S. No. 12, Ramsay.
    He was married at Almonte on November 12, 1924 to the former Myrtle Thompson, who
    predeceased him in 1945.
    Mr. Brydges is survived by six sons, Keith, Kenneth, Robert, Cecil, Gordon and Ivan, all of
    Almonte, and six daughters, Katherine (Mrs. Francis Gardiner), Galetta; Idabel (Mrs Carman
    James), Almonte; Mary (Mrs. Armer Howie), Carp; Marion (Mrs. Graham Armstrong), Carp;
    Edith (Mrs. John Campbell), Fitzroy Harbour; and Grace (Mrs. Sterling Howie), Stittsville;
    (three sets of twins).
    Also surviving are a brother Howard of Almonte, and three sisters, Ruby (Mrs. Gilbert Grainger), Arnprior; Myrtle (Mrs. William Drynan), Clayton, and Roda (Mrs Clifford Dtynan),
    Amonte. A brother, John, is predeceased.
    The funeral was held from the Kerry Funeral Home, Elgin Street, to St. Paul's Anglican
    Church for service on Monday, May 28, at 2 p.m. Rev. Harry Brown officating. Burial was at
    St. Paul's Cemetery.
    Pallbearers were George Thompson, Ross Craig, James McGregor, Joe Madden,
    Orville Brydges and Charles Symingto

    After a lengthy illness at Almonte General Hospital, on Friday, February 17, 1989. Rhoda Margaret Brydges - beloved wife of Clifford Alexander Drynan. Dear daughter of the late Samuel Brydges and the late Margaret Young. Dear sister of Ruby (Mrs Gilbert Grainger), Arnprior. Predeceased by 3 brothers Wilbert, John and Howard Brydges and I sister Myrtle (Mrs Wm M Drynan). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. In her 87th year. No visitation by request. Cremation Pinecrest Crematorium, Ottawa. Interment of Ashes, Clayton United Cemetery. A Memorial service was held at the Almonte United Church on Monday February 20th.

    CLANCY, Doris (nee Munro) - Doris Elizabeth Clancy (nee Munro) of Napanee, beloved wife of Walter Clancy, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at the age of 74. Loving mother of Derek Clancy (Shelley) and Darcy Clancy (Amanda). Proud Grandma of Jacob, Megan, Simone and Nicholas.

    Daughter of the late Clifford and Effie Munro and daughter-in-law of the late Maurice and Gertrude Clancy.

    Survived by her brothers and sisters, Arnold Munro (Donna), Elmer Munro and Heather LePage (Gerry). Sister-in-law of Susan Munro, Margaret Jennings (late George), Irene Spike, Anne Powers (Jim), Michael Clancy (Nancy) and Gordon Meighan.

    Predeceased by her siblings, Laura Kellough (late Willard), Ellen Munro, Ray Munro, James Munro, Marion Brady (late Joe) and by her sister in-law Brenda Meighan.

    Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Doris was a quiet, hard working and generous woman who was devoted to help and support others. She found great joy from her family. Doris cherished her 50 years of marriage to Walter and was immensely proud of Derek and Darcy's accomplishments. She also treasured the opportunity to nurture and adore her grandchildren. She will forever be remembered for her kindness and unconditional, caring nature. The family will receive friends at the PAUL G. PAYNE FUNERAL HOME , 178 Main Street, Odessa, Ontario K0H 2H0 on Friday, February 8, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A family graveside service will be held at Willowbank Cemetery in Gananoque
