McARTON, Stuart John - Passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital while surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 26th, 2015, at the age of 97. Loving son of the late John and Jane McArton. Beloved husband of the late Ruth McArton (nee Matthews). Dear father of Marj Fleming (Alex), Bob (Susan), William (Elizabeth), and son-in-law David Sager (Eleanor). Proud grandpa of 9 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter Joan Sager and by his brother Arthur. A celebration of Stuart's life will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, Stirling on Thursday, July 30th, 2015 at 11:00a.m. Reverend Nancy Beale officiating.

Stuart married Ruth Elizabeth Matthews on 21 Oct 1939. Ruth (daughter of Alton Wilbert Matthews and Eva Anna Robertson) was born on 2 Feb 1921 in Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; died on 4 Mar 2012 in Bellville, Hastings County, Ontario, Canada; was cremated in 2012 in Auld Kirk Cemetery, Ramsay, Mississippi Mills, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
