    Edith Scott passed away in Surrey Hospital, B.C. on Saturday, October 8 in her 75th. year.
    Miss Scott had suffered a stroke about a month ago in her home at cloverdale, B.C.
    Funeral service was held from the Dominion City United Church Friday October 13 at 2 p.m. Rev. H. Varah officiated. Interment was in the local cemetery. Mordue Funeral home of Winnipeg, were in charge of arrangements
    Palbearers were J.M. Waddell, Mal Raw, Neil Sullivan, Clark Hunter, R.B. Glan and W.H. (Jim) Hancox.
    Miss Scott was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Scott, pioneer family of the district . She lived most od her life in Dominion City, until recent years when she moved to Cloverdale, B.C.
    She was a life member of the United Church of Canada and was an active worker in the church organizations while in Dominion City.
    She is survived by one brother, Ray, of Winnipeg, four neices, two nephews and sister-in -law Mrs. Annie Scott of D.C.
