    David Mcintosh, born oct.1870. On Oct.24,1901 he injured his leg while getting into the Mississippi Hotel coach, similar to the one illustrated. On Nov.1,1901 he died from blood poisoning. He served as a clerk at the hotel and would be assisting passengers with luggage at the time of his injury.

    The J.H. Park that you have entered as buried in Fleming Cemetery is Joseph Hugh Park. He was the first son of Duncan Park and Mary Whyte McIntosh, and was an older brother to my grandmother Effie Park, who married Rae Salkeld of Gerald. Joe moved with his father Duncan to the Fleming, Saskatchewan area in 1900. He worked with his father for a while but later purchased a farm of his own 1 mile south of Fleming. He was a horse trader and cattle buyer in the area for many years. but became ill and he was taken to at first to Reston, Manitoba...and later to Esterhazy, Saskatchewan as Effie and Rae, lived in that area. It was said that he suffered from Asthma, but actually passed away of cancer in 1945. One of his sisters was Ellen Park Taylor who is also buried in Fleming Cemetery also his Aunt Jane his father's sister is also buried in that cemetery. Mervin Roberts who predeceased her in 1987. Dearly loved mother of J. Douglas and his wife Ruby Roberts of R.R. # 1 Lanark and Barbara (late Walter) Arnsdorf of Port Moody, B.C. Dear sister of Margaret (late Lou) Duval of Lanark and dear aunt of Elizabeth (Bill) Still. Predeceased by her brother Morley and his wife Hilda McIntosh and her infant brother George. Helena Grandma Neenie will be lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and her numerous nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all her family, her friends, Eastern Star sisters and her St. Andrew's church family. Friends may pay their respects at the Young Funeral Home, Lanark on Friday, April 18th, from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 P.M. Beloved wife of the late Louis Duval who predeceased her in 1991. Dearly loved mother of Elizabeth 'Libby' and her husband William Still of Sarasota, Florida; cherished grandmother of William and James Still. Predeceased by her brother Morley and his wife Hilda McIntosh, infant brother Gordon and in 2008 by her sister Helena Roberts. Dear aunt of Douglas and his wife Ruby Roberts of Lanark and Barbara (late Walter) Arnsdorf of Port Moody, B.C. and sister-in-law of the late Lorraine Willette, Lillian Cayer and Paul Duval of Massachusetts.     Barbara L. Arnsdorf passed away suddenly in Port Coquitlam, BC on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 following a short illness in hospital. She was predeceased by her parents Mervyn and Helena Roberts, her brother Douglas Roberts all of Lanark, as well as her husband Walter. Born on April 19, 1932 in Perth, Ontario and raised on a farm near Lanark, Barbara graduated from Kingston General Hospital School of Nursing in 1954. Barbara headed west to begin her journey in life. Barbara's nursing career of nearly 40 years was spent in its entirety at the Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, BC. Barbara's last wishes were to "come home" and so to honor that, family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at St. Andrew's United Church in Lanark on Thursday, November 12th at 11:00 A.M. Interment, Pinegrove Cemetery, Lanark Highlands. Fellowship immediately following at the Lanark Timber Run Golf Course. As an expression of sympathy, contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation at Blair and Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St., West, Perth.

    Barbara married Walter Otto Reinhold Arnsdorf in 1959. Walter was born on 6 Mar 1935 in Lethbridge, Lethbridge Census Division, Alberta, Canada; died on 20 Aug 1979 in New Westminster, Greater Vancouver Regional District, British Columbia, Canada; was cremated in Fraser Cemetery, New Westminister, Greater Vancouver Regional District, British Columbia.     The family of Doug is saddened to announce his peaceful passing at the age of 84 on Thursday, July 16th, 2015 at the Perth & District Memorial Hospital. Doug was surrounded by his loving and devoted family in all of his final days. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 65 years, Ruby (McOuatt); his sister Barbara Arnsdorf and his children Lynne (Terry) Beckstead, John (Connie) Roberts, Brian/Herb (Betty) Roberts, Kathy (Glenn) Neilson, Susan (Jim) Buker, Janet (Tom) Sproule, Tom (Lynda) Roberts, Jim (Dianne) Roberts, Dave (Ann) Roberts. Doug was predeceased by his parents Mervyn and Helena (McIntosh) Roberts, his son Stephen, his Grandson Craig Buker and his Great-Grandaughter Eva Roberts. Grandpa will be especially missed by his grandchildren Jessica, Ted, Ryan, Alex, Adam, Rebecca, Heidi, Jennifer, Shawn, Michael, Deven, Olivia, Elly, Abby, Mackenzie, Kieran and Bronwyn and his Great-Grandchildren Declan, Zoe, Torin, Riley, Jack, Harvi, Kaia, Shane, Nicholas, Brady, Lucas and Avery. Doug will be fondly remembered by all his sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, family, friends and neighbours. He raised a wonderful family of ten and has left a legacy that we are all very proud of. He passed on to us his strong work ethic, his love of music, his woodworking talents and his perfectionism will live in all of us forever! Family and friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth on Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, July 22nd at 11:00 A.M. Interment, Pine Grove Cemetery, Lanark Highlands. As an expression of sympathy, contributions may be made to the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care Unit) or the Canadian Cancer Society. A special thank you to "Suze" and all of the staff on the 3rd Floor at the Perth & District Memorial Hospital for the exceptional care and kindness Dad received during these past several weeks. His family is extremely grateful to each and every one of you who made this long journey a little easier to handle each and every day.
