    SYME ? In hospital, Vancouver, B.C., on Monday, September 8th, 1975, Hilda Dorothy Webb. Beloved wife of the late John Syme; dear mother of Ted, Almonte; Barrie, Toronto; Ronald, Almonte; survived by three sisters, Neil, Thunder Bay; May, Kapuskasing and Lillian, Vancouver. Also survived by eight grandchildren. Rested at the Kerry Funeral Home, 154 Elgin Street Almonte where service was held on Friday at 2:00 p.m. Rev George Bickley officiated. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery.

    BARRIE GORDON SYME (of Mississauga, ON) AGE 72
    Dear son of the late John Syme and the late Dorothy Webb. Dear brother of Ron and his wife Noreen Syme, Carleton Place. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one brother, Ted Syme.
    The Funeral
    Friends called at the Kerry Funeral Home, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte for visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service was in the Chapel on Tuesday at 11 :00 a.m. The Ven. Robert Davis officiating. Cremation to follow.

Ret, Canadian Armed Forces Signal Corp, Member Br. 240 Royal Canadian Legion, Almonte) Peacefully at his home surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday evening, January 21, 2018. Ron Syme of Carleton Place, age 85 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Noreen Kealey since their early teens. Loved and respected father of David (Nicole), Christopher (Gaynel) and Janice Kerry (Paul). Predeceased by 2 sons, Michael and Kevin. Specially loved poppy of 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 brothers, Ted and Barrie. Friends may call to share memories at the C. R. Dear brother of David, Chris (Gaynel), Janice and by the late Michael. Fondly remembered by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Family visitation was held at the Kerry Funeral Home, 61 Lake Avenue West, Carleton Place on Wednesday, September 28 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service was held in the Kerry Chapel on Thursday, September 29 at 11 a.m with Father Milton Remedios officiating. Burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Almonte.
