    ? The angel of death once more visited our midst this week and claimed the bright young life of Marion McGill, wife of Mr Geo Graham, at the early age of 33 years. Seven years ago deceased was stricken with pleuro-pneumonia, the effects of which severely tested her physical endurance, and from which developments arose which baffled the best of medical attention and loving care. The late Mrs Graham was of a bright, cheerful disposition, making the most of life, although it had for years been darkened by suffering and affliction, all of which had been borne with Christian patience and resignation, until death released her from all pain an Monday morning. Besides her husband and his little daughter, Kathleen, she leaves to mourn, her parents, Mr and Mrs John McGill, and four sisters and three brothers. These are Mrs S.J. Needham, Mrs Alex Barker and Misses Susie and Lucy, and Messrs James, John and Wm T., all of whom have the deepest sympathy of their many friends in their sad bereavement. The funeral took place on Wednesday afternoon from her husband's residence on the ninth line to the eighth line cemetery. Rev W. Merrilees conducted the funeral service at the home and grave

    At Fairview Manor, Almonte on Sunday 20 June, 1993. Kathleen (Kay) Graham of Almonte. Age 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Stuart W. Hudson. Dear mother of Graham (Kay) of Kinburn; Gwendolyn (Mrs. Dr. Allan Taylor) of Ottawa; and Marion (Mrs. Trevor Hawkins) of London, Ontario. Much loved sister-in-law Mertie and Jim McDonald, Alfred and Jessie Hudson of Almonte; and Claude and Anne Hudson of Sidney, B.C. Also survived by eight grandchildren , and 3 great grandchildren. Friends called at the C.R. Gamble Funeral Home, 127 Church Street, Almonte. Funeral service was in the Chapel on Tuesday. officiating. Interment Union Cemetery, Pakenham, Ontario.

    It is with great sadness that the family of Graham Hudson announce his peaceful passing at the Ottawa General Hospital on January 22, 2022 in his 89th year. He was the loving and devoted husband and soul mate of the late Kay (nee Snedden) for 59 years. Graham was the son of the late Stuart and Kay Hudson. He was the proud father of Bruce (Elizabeth), Brian (Lynn), Steve (Jane), Dale (Angela) and Donna (Bill) Lemon as well as 13 grandchildren Leigh (Craig), Dana (Alan), Kerin, Sandra, Allison (Eric), Andrew, Sara (Lucas), Melissa, Jared, Cameron, Nicholas, Meg, Ben and great-grandchild Claire. He will be mourned by his sister Gwen (the late Allan) Taylor. Pre-deceased by his sister the late Marion (Trevor) Hawkins and brother-in-law the late Earle (Marilyn) Snedden and he will also be mourned by brother-in-law Sandy (Marion) Snedden and his sister-in-law Beth (Brian) Keating. Graham was a respected member of the Agricultural Community. He was active in the Ottawa Valley Seed Growers, Kemptville College Foundation as a graduate of K.A.S. of 1954. He was also a longtime 4-H Leader and a lifelong member of St. Andrews United Church, Pakenham. Graham especially enjoyed his fraternal affiliations with Mississippi Masonic Lodge no. 147, Maple Granite Royal Arch Chapter, Scottish Rite 32 Degree, Tunis Shriners no. 179 and the Land O'Lakes Shrine Club. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff and friends at Orchard View by the Mississippi for their kindness.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the Shriners Hospitals for Children ? Canada or the Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation.
