MRS. J.I. BREWSTER DIES VERY SUDDENLY
    -----------------
Wife of Well-Known Alberta Citizen Dead--Came Here in 1880
    ----------
The death occurred suddenly last night of Mrs. Mary Jane Brewster, wife of James I. Brewster, provincial game warden and member of the Brewster Transfer and Trading company of Banff, who passed away at her home, 1202 Boulevard avenue, Hillhurst.

The late Mrs. Brewster was 47 years of age, the cause of death being heart failure. Mr. Brewster was at Banff yesterday, and the first intimation that he had was that his wife had died suddenly of heart failure. Mrs. Brewster had not been ailing and the end was quite unexpected. Mr. Brewster arrived in Calary on the 2:10 train this afternoon to supervise the funeral arrangements. The remains have been removed to the parlors of Shaver, Armstrong & McPherson, who have charge of the funeral.

Mrs. Brewster, who was formerly a Miss Boyd, was well known in Alberta, having come here in 1880 as a girl with her parents, who settled near Morley. Two children survive, a daughter, Miss E.B. Brewster, and a son, James L. Brewster. There are six brothers living, William Boyd, of Meaford, Ont.; Samuel Boyd, Bellingham, Wash.; David Boyd, Swanton, Ohio; George M. Boyd, Owen Sound, Ont.; John Boyd, Huntsville, Ont.; Albert Boyd, San Francisco, Cal.

The deceased lady was a sister of Mrs. McDougall, wife of the Rev. John McDougall, the veteran missionary.
