McCREARY, Captain John February 10, 1932 - November 16, 2011 John passed away peacefully with his son by his side in Surrey, BC. He is predeceased by his wife Gail, daughter Linda and brother Douglas. John is survived by his son Ken; grandson John Bieker; sisters Helen (Roger) Latham and Dorothy Throssel (Jim); as well as extended family and friends. He was a captain on the tow boats of the West Coast waters and spent his spare time fishing with his son. He is now with his wife Gail of 53 years whom he survived by only 15 days. His outgoing personality will be missed by everybody. A Funeral Service for John will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 2:00 pm in Arbor Chapel, Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14660 72 Avenue, Surrey, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John's memory to the BC Cancer Foundation.

Of Surrey passed away at the age of 43 years. She is lovingly remembered by her family: son John; parents, John and Gail McCreary; brother Ken; as well many other family members and friends. Graveside service will take place Saturday, December 13th at 12:30 pm at Valley View Memorial Gardens, 14660 - 72nd Ave., Surrey, BC. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm at The Free Presbyterian Church of Cloverdale, 18790 - 58 Ave., Surrey. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cloverdale Free Presbyterian Church in Linda's memory will be appreciated.
