predeceased by his parents Rachel (Edwards) and Thomas Grawbarger.
Beloved husband to Vera Grawbarger (Spencer) for 54 years and father to Jacqueline (Bob) Luce (Milton), James Grawbarger (deceased), daughter-in-law Andrea Grawbarger (Bear Valley), Nicole (Ray) Belec (Chaput Hughes). Proud grandfather to Kristina, Ben, Matthew, Rachel Luce and Spencer Grawbarger.
Predeceased by sisters and brothers Edith (Joe) Stevenson, May (Allen) McVeety, Beatrice (Francis) Hummel, Bert (Wynne) Grawbarger, Joan Lamb survived by brother-in-law Ralph Lamb (Enniskillen). Gib is survived by his in-laws in England Doreen Terry (Nottingham), Marjorie (Les) Brown (Long Eaton, Notts), Jacqueline (Dave) Wood (Nottingham), and John Spencer (Brenda) of Sudbury, Ontario. Also many cousins, nephews and nieces will greatly miss him. Gib was an avid trapper, fisherman and hunter. He played on the Restoule Wolves Hockey Team for many years. Since trapping from a young age Gib was instrumental in the creation of the Ontario Trappers Association. He was President, Vice President and a director for many years. During the summer months he worked as a fishing guide to tourists. Many years were spent with the Junior Rangers at Restoule Provincial Park mapping out canoe routes in the area. Gib helped build many houses working as a carpenter during the summer months. Gib and his brother Bert ran a bow hunting camp in the fall on Lennon Lake for many years. The family wishes to thank the Restoule Volunteer Firefighters, the Ambulance Attendants, the daily CCAC workers, the doctors and nurses at North Bay Regional Health Centre and to all those who dropped in to visit
