(Medical):After father remarried, stepmother was unkind to first family so Jimmy ran away and went to the Stewarts' in Winnipeg. Went to medical school with flying colours; medical school hockey star; he disappeared during final weeks of training and was never located - he had taken a blow on the head during a game the week before and was confused at that time. It was rumored at one time that he was working as a coal miner in Alberta but this was not confirmed.

-Mrs. Agnes G. Rowan of Paw Paw, Mich., who had been visiting her daughter, Mrs. Richard Matzke of Elkhart, died at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday in Elkhart General Hospital where she had been admitted Sunday. She is survived by another daughter, three sons, eight grandchildren, and four greatgrandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Hawley Funeral Home in Paw Paw with burial there in Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Russell G. Rowan, 87, Burbank accountant active in community organizations. A native of Oak Park, 111., Rowan studied accounting at the University of Chicago, the Lewis Business Institute in Chicago and Northwestern University. During World War II, he served as an auditor for the U.S. Department of War. He moved to Los Angeles to establish his accounting business. He was still working as a public accountant from his Burbank office when he died. Rowan was active in Lions Clubs for 50 years, serving as local president and attending more than 25 international conventions around the world. Also a Mason, he was a 32-degree life member of the Pasadena Scottish Rite and a life member of Al Malaikah Shrine Temple.
On Saturday of congestive heart failure.

Mr. Rowan was the announcer and warm-up man for "I Love Lucy" (1951-57) and "The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour" (1957-60). He also worked on "The Lucy Show" (1962-68) and "Here's Lucy" (1968-74).
