    ?/b?Mr. Samuel Arthur, 95 James Street, died yesterday in his sixty-ninth year. Mr Arthur was born in Ireland and came to Canada in his childhood, having since lived in Almonre, Huntley and Ottawa. Of the Capitak he was a resident for nearly half a century and became well know here as a Forester, a member of the United Workmen and in his capacity of harness maker. Although he had been ailing for the past two years, Mr. Arthur was not taken seriously ill until three weeks previous to his death.
    He is survived by his widow, two sons, John S. and Clarence A., by a brother in Carleton Place and a sister in Almonte.
    The service will be held tomorrow afternoon at two o'clock by Rev. J. W. Woodside, of Chamlmers Church, and the funeral will be at 2:30 to Beechwood Cemetery.

    Samuel married Sarah Ann Victoria "Sadie" Garland on 25 Apr 1886 in Carleton Place, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada. Sarah (daughter of Richard Garland and Jane Lee) was born on 6 Jan 1867 in Carleton Place, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; died on 18 Nov 1943 in Ottawa, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada; was buried in Beechwood Cemetery, Ottawa, Ottawa Municipality, Ontario, Canada.
