Surrounded by his family at home on Monday, May 11, 1998, after a courageous battle with cancer. Douglas H. (Buddy) Houston of Almonte, age 66 years. Beloved husband of Jacqueline (nee McGregor). Dear father of Julie and husband John, Christine and husband Andrew, Kimberly and husband James and Margo and partner Cathy. "Gramps" will be sadly missed by grandchildren Shayne, Jason, Steven, Tyler, Connor, Kristopher and Jacqueline. Friends may call at the C.R. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME 7 CHAPEL, 127 Church Street, Almonte, for a memorial Service on Thursday at 2 P.M. Private interment of cremated remains, Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Iron Works Restaurant following the Service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre at the Ottawa Civic Hospital would be greatly appreciated. A special thanks to Dr. J. Bormanis, Dr. P. Cross, Dr. B. Bruce, Dr. C. Rytwinski, Maridee Margita, R.N., and the nurses at Paramed for their compassion and support.
