    Mr Wesley Rea
    The funeral of Wesley Rea took place on Friday afternoon from Fleming Bros Funeral Home, Carleton Place, to the Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte, for interment. Rev D.C. Munro officiated at the service. Mr Rea died at his home on January 13th as a result of a heart seizure. He was born on April 2nd, 1874, in Ramsay Township, son of the late Joseph Rea and his wife, Margaret Code. He was a farmer all his life an all his active years were spent on the family homestead on the 9th line of Ramsay Township. He was married to the former Miss Isa Hilborne, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs John Hilborne also of Ramsay Township. They were member of Trinity United Church in Almonte. About five years ago, Mr Rea sold his farm to Mr Geo Wylie and Mr and Mrs Rea moved to Carleton Place. Mrs Rea died on Dec 19, 1950. In Carleton Place, Mr Rea attended Memorial Park United Church. Survivors include two sons and two daughters, Howard, of Renfrew, and Melvin, of Almonte; Evelyn Rea of Carleton Place and Mrs H. Holland of Toronto; also a sister, Mrs E. Paul of Toronto, and two grandchildren. The pallbearers were H. Rea, H. Robertson, E. Robertson, J Brydges, L. Watson, Almonte; A. Matthews

    Wesley married Ida Florence Hilborn on 4 Oct 1899 in Almonte, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada. Ida was born in 1874 in Ramsay Township, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; died on 19 Dec 1950 in Carleton Place, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; was buried in Auld Kirk Cemetery, Ramsay, Mississippi Mills, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
