    Died:
    Mrs. D. J. Campbell. The long life of Mrs. Donald J. Campbell, of Drummond, came to a close on Friday morning last, when she passed away in her eightieth year. Deceased had been bedridden for over twenty years, and this great affliction was born with Christian fortitude until the last. Mrs. Campbell, whose maiden name was Mary McIntyre, was sister of the late Messers. Hugh and Donald McIntyre, of Balderson, and of Mrs. Jas. Gould of Drummond, who is now the only surviving member of the family. She was born in the district of Balquhidder, Perthshire, Scotland, and came with her parents to the Balderson settlement when very young. Here children were: John D. (deceased); Peter M. and Margery, on the homestead; Margaret (Mrs. Chas. McLenaghan), Perth, and Mrs, Andrew Armour, North Burgess. She was a member of the Presbyterian church, and she was buried in the Campbell cemetery, Drummond, Rev. J. S. McIlraith, conducting the funeral services."

Donald (son of John Campbell and Margaret McIntosh) was born on 21 Jun 1820 in Drummond Township, Lanark County, Canada West; was christened on 30 Jun 1820 in Perth, Lanark County, Canada West; died on 17 Aug 1889 in Drummond Township, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; was buried in Campbell's Cemetery, Balderson, Tay Valley Township, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
