    McARTON, Stuart John - Passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital while surrounded by his family on Sunday, July 26th, 2015, at the age of 97. Loving son of the late John and Jane McArton. Beloved husband of the late Ruth McArton (nee Matthews). Dear father of Marj Fleming (Alex), Bob (Susan), William (Elizabeth), and son-in-law David Sager (Eleanor). Proud grandpa of 9 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his daughter Joan Sager and by his brother Arthur. A celebration of Stuart's life will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, Stirling on Thursday, July 30th, 2015 at 11:00a.m. Reverend Nancy Beale officiating.

Loving grandfather to Kristina Korogyi. Predeceased by his brother Bob (Jean). Brother- in-law of Clare (Marylou), Ella Paul (the late Bill) and Dorothy Nickerson (Bob). Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
    The Funeral
    At Harvey's request there was no visitation at the Funeral Home. A private family funeral service was held at the Kerry Funeral Home, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte in the CHAPEL on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Heather Kinkaid officiated. Interment at Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte in the Spring.

    Passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Friday, October 4, 2013 in his 68th year after a lengthy illness with family by his side. Formerly of Toronto and more recently Newmarket. Predeceased by his beloved parents, Arthur William McArton and Carmel Eileen McArton (Edwards) and step- mother Mary Grace McArton (Robertson). Loving brother to Lee Fernandez (Al), Karen Scott (Michael) and Gweneth McArton. Cherished uncle to Kelly (Kelly S.), Corey and Carl (Renee), Kathleen, Jesse, Jordin (Danielle), Courtney and Ryan and great-uncle to dZwin and Clara. Retired police constable with the Canadian National Railway Company. Our sincere and special thanks to the excellent doctors and staff at the Stronach Cancer Centre for their kindness and supportive care. A celebration of John's life will take place at Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora, 905-727-5421, on Saturday, October 19, 2013. Visitation at 10 a.m., service in the Chapel at 11 a.m., reception to follow. Interment will be at The Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte, ON, at a later date.
