CHARLES DUNCAN (DUNC) DUCLOS April 5, 1921 - December 21, 2013 Passed away peacefully at his Hudson home on December 21 surrounded by his wife of 66 years, Mary Lois (Winslow-Spragge), sons Victor (Louise) and Brian (Denise), and daughter Lorraine Duclos.
Duncan was a 6th generation Canadian. He was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, and grew up and lived in Montreal. He graduated from Bishop's College School and McGill University (B. Comm). He served his country with distinction in WWII. He retired from Ronalds Federated as corporate secretary. He moved to Hudson in 1976.
Dunc was truly a gentle man. He was devoted to his family, contributed to his community (councilor and Legion Hardy Rocks lead) and was a lover of life.
He will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews, his grandchildren: Ryan Duclos of Calgary, Samantha Stephens (Mark) of San Jose, and Amanda Bongiovanni-Duclos of Calgary, and great-granddaughter Mikayla Stephens.

A celebration of his life took place on December 27 at St. Mary's Church in Hudson and another is being planned for the spring. Charles married Mary Lois Winslow-Spragge in 1948. Mary (daughter of Edward Winslow-Spragge and Lois Sybil Harrington) was born on 5 Jun 1924 in Montreal, Montreal Region, Quebec, Canada; died on 19 Mar 2017 in Lakeshore General Hospital, Pointe-Claire, Quebec, Canada; was buried on 13 May 2017.
