PORTER, Edna Peacefully at Almonte Country Haven, on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at age 92. Edna Christena McEwen, beloved wife of the late Robert John Porter. Loving and cherished mother to Wilda. Dear sister and best friend of Alice McGregor (late Clarence). Predeceased by a sister Mary McEwen. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Kerry Funeral Home, 61 Lake Avenue West, Carleton Place for visiting on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in St. James Anglican Church, Franktown on Tuesday afternoon at 1 p.m. with Rev. Margo Whittaker officiating. Interment St. Augustine's Anglican Cemetery, Prospect.
