?/b?It is scarcely a year since Mary Alice Barker left her father's home as the bride of Mr. W. G. Chamberlain, of the 6th. line, Ramsay, and already her friends are called upon tomourn her loss. Mrs. Chamberlain, who was the daughter of Mr. Wm. Barker, of the 8th. line, Ramsay, had been ill for some weeks with heart trouble. She gradually grew worse till the day of her death on Monday last. mrs. Chamberlain wa only 19 years of age and her death is a ppeculiarly sad one. The funeral on Wednesday to the eighth line cemetery was very large. It was conducted by Rev. J. H. Miller, of the methodist church, andRev. Ferguson Millar, Mrs. Chamberlain's former pastor. The occurance is one of unusual sadness, and has called forth sympathy for those to whom bereavement has come.

William (son of Noah Chamberlain and Isabelle Gourlay) was born on 23 Apr 1884 in Westmeath, Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada; died on 12 Dec 1955 in Ottawa Municipality, Ontario, Canada; was buried in Auld Kirk Cemetery, Ramsay, Mississippi Mills, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
