Elizabeth Gibson passed away in the Casper Memorial Hospital on February 26, 1965.

"Aunt Lil" as she was affectionately known to her many friends and neighbors, was the last of the S. A. Gibson family which originated in Counties Wexford and Kilkenny, Ireland. Aunt Lil came to Douglas from Dow City, Iowa, 25 years ago, to make her home with her sister, Mrs. Willard A. Saul, who passed away December 24, 1962. For the past year, Aunt Lil had been in failing health.

She is survived by a niece, Vera Saul Trumper, and Vernon W. Saul and Veldon H. Saul, nephews; and other nieces and nephews in Iowa and Oregon; as well as many grand nieces and nephews.
