Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Evenson Chapel for Dr. Ralston V. Lyons, 63, of 308 S. Walnut St., Ellensburg chiropractor who died suddenly Thursday at the Kittitas Valley Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in High Valley Memorial Gardens.

Born June 30, 1901 in Colfax, Lyons came to Ellensburg in 1926 and worked on the tunnel of the High Line Canal, then owned and operated the Green Lantern Cafe on Pearl Street before leaving for Davenport, Ia., to attend Palmer School of Chiropractic. Upon graduation he returned to Ellensburg and has had an office here for many years.

Dr. Lyons was a member of the First Lutheran Church, Rotary Club, a charter member of Ellensburg Boat Club and a member of Washington State Shiropractic Assn., of which he served as board member the past 25 years. He married Emma Moen in Wenatchee, July 22, 1937, and she survives him at the family home.

Other survivors are a son, Wayne, serving in the U.S. Army in the Panama Canal Zone, his mother, Mrs. Zoie Lyons at Bernath's Nursing Home; a brother, Raymond, of Issaquah, and a half-brother, Lake Lyons of Colfax.
