Either he was born before his parents were married or it was 1847. William Henry in 1861 was to be 13 next birthday; 1901 census b. 29 Feb 1850 BUT the only leap year for a 29th is 1848; cemetery shows 1848. Other than to change the birth date from the 29th to the 28th and change the year, I would leave it at 7 1/2 months between the two. Your guess is as good as mine.

    STANZELL, Lena Suddenly at the Carleton Place and District Mem orial Hospital, on Friday, October 10, 1997, in her 93rd year. Lena Jane Shall, beloved wife of the late Clifford Alvin Stanzell. Loving mother of Alvin (Giuri) Stanzell, Toronto and Joyce (Craig) Hobbs, Stittsville. Dear grandmother of Cheryl and Karen Stanzell, Carol Chandler, Kathy (Gary) Milne and Clifford (Karen) Hobbs. Great-grandmother of Clifford Chandler, Angela, Stephanie and Kristina Milne, Trevor and Nicholas Hobbs, and Celine Stanzell-Bonneau. Survived by her dear friend Elaine Stanzell. Predeceased by one grandchild Curtis Stanzell and by two brothers Harold and Preston Shail. Friends may call at the Kerry Funeral Home, 61 Lake Avenue West, Carleton Place for visiting on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the chapel on Monday at 1 1 a.m., Rev.     Daughter of the late Preston Shail and the late Laura Shail (Gorr). Loving wife of 60 years to the late Allan Lowe and by her second husband, the late Murray McRae. Survived by her children, Debbie Roy (Gilles), Donna Ward (Lee), and Dale Lowe (Lisa). Cherished Nana of Koraleigh Roy, Vanessa Lamothe (Sean), Stacey Devoy (Desmond), Darcy Ward (Christina), Kieran Ward (Taylor), Emily Hildenbrand (Lucas), Maddy Lowe (Zac). Predeceased by grandson Matthew Braden Lowe. Adored great grandmother of Haven and Tye Lamothe, Michaela and Loughlin Devoy, and Bennett Hildenbrand.

    Due to Covid-19 there will be no visitation. Private family burial will take place at a later date.
