Notes: (Medical):The crew of Lockheed Hudson #771 aircraft was on a navigational training and transport flight between Torbay in Newfoundland and Dartmouth in Nova Scotia, Canada, when they disappeared, crashing 11 miles from RCAF Station Dartmouth. There were three crew members, as well as three passengers aboard the Hudson, and all six servicemen perished in the aircraft accident. Though a military search was immediately launched, the crash site was not located until 6 Nov 1944. |
