    HARTIN, Iolene Ailsa (nee Boucher) Peacefully in hospital on Sunday, September 10, 2006 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Beattie and her son Eric. Cherished sister of Vera Boucher. Predecesed by her brother John Boucher (Stella) and her sister Jean (Milton Hartin). Survived by sisters-in-law Minerva Lowe, Janet Lowe, Ann Hartin and Edna Hartin. Very special aunt to her nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Valley Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 115 Rivington Street, Carp, on Tuesday, September 12, 2006 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., and on Wednesday from 12 noon until the Funeral Service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Huntley Presbyterian Cemetery. For those who wish, a donation to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Stittsville or the charity of choice would be appreciated.

    (Medical):Area Youth Killed: Hallowe'en Night Fatality In Stittsville: A 14 year old Stittsville area youth, who was trick or treating with five friends Hallowe'en night Tuesday, was killed while attempting to cross Highway 7, one mile east of Stittsville. Dead is Eric Hartin, son of Mr. amd Mrs. Beattie Hartin of RR 3, Stittsville. He was struck by a car driven by Sterling George Warner, 50, of 57 Bradley Avenue, Stittsville, who was travelling east on Highway 7. Police said the youth was not dressed in a Hallowe'en costume. His parents said he had left his mask in the family car before leaving the house. OPP constable Ken Shields is investigating. Police said an inquest will be called into the death.

    ARTIN, Eric Lloyd - suddenly, Oct 31, 1967, Eric Hartin, aged 14, beloved son of Beattie and Iolene Hartin (nee Boucher). resting Tubman Funeral Home, 403, Richmond Road at Roosevelt. Service in the chapel Friday, 2 p.m. Buried: Presbyterian Cemetery, Third Line of Huntley.
