    In hospital Sunday, May 31, 1970, William C. Morton, age 90, beloved husband by first marriage of the late Annie Brownlee, and by second marriage of the late Alice Birch. Predeceased by his only son, Arthur E. Morton. Survived by his daughter-in-law, Mrs. Gladys Morton, and 1 granddaughter, Mrs. J.A. (Helen) Dixon, Pembroke; also 2 great-grandchildren. Resting Tubman Funeral Home. Service in the chapel Wednesday 2pm. Interment Munster Union cemetery.

    Peacefully passed away at the Smiths Falls Hospital on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, age 81 years. Beloved husband of the late Edna Jean McKay. Loving father of Cheryl Cooper (Raymond). Cherished grandfather of Nancy Thompson (Doug) and Jim Bowes (Carolyne) and great grandfather of Randal, Dale, Katelyn, Jessie, Erika and Vanessa. Dear brother of the late Raymond Mains (the late Mabel). Sadly missed by his nephews Bill Mains (Cheryl), David Mains (Cheryl), Robert Mains (Nicola) and Howard Mains (Victoria). Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM on Wednesday. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 11 AM. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery. In memory of Lester, donations to the Smiths Falls Community Hospital Foundation or Trinity United Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
