Alva Edison Simpson, beloved husband of Mary Ann Simpson, and father of Mrs. Earl Graham (Mae), Stittsville, and Blair, of Ashton, age 69 years. Resting at Fleming Bros. Funeral Home, Lake Avenue W., Carleton Place, where funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 11, at 2:30 o'clock. Interment Dewars cemetery.

Beloved mother of Ross Graham. Beloved friend of Russell Cathcart for over 50 vears, a dearly dependent friend, so faithful to me, during my illness. Sister of the late Blair Simpson of Ashton. Daughter of the late Alva E. and Mary Ann Simpson. Friends may call at the Kerry Funeral Home, 61 Lake Avenue West, Carleton Place on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 , p.m. Service in the chapel on Friday at 2 p.m. with Rev. David Spivey officiating. Spring interment Munster Union Cemetery. In memory of Mae, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Carleton Place Hospital would be appreciated.
