Mr Alex. G. Snedden
Though it had been known to his friends for some time that Mr Alex. G. Snedden was seriously ill, it was with regret that word was received of his death, which took place on Wednesday, August 21st, at his home, 14 Richmond Ave., Woodroffe. Deceased, who was a son of the late Alex. Snedden, was born in Blakeney, Ramsay Township, Ont., and had lived in Ottawa for only the past year, and was a farmer. He was a Presbyterian and attended the Ottawa West Church. He leaves his mother, two brothers, George R. Snedden, of Togo, Sask., and H.M. Snedden, of Appleton, Ont., and five sisters, Mrs R.L. Black of Montreal; Mrs Graham Forgie of Ottawa; Mrs P.B. Ford of New Westminster, B.C.; Mrs R.T. Richardson, of Woodroffe; and Mrs G.W. McCreary, of Ottawa. On Thursday evening a funeral service was held by Rev Mr Cramm of Ottawa west, at which Rev S.G. Brown of Almonte was also present. The funeral will be on Friday morning to Almonte and on the arrival of the 9.14 a.m. train to the Presbyterian cemetery for interment
