    Leonora E. Teskey
    Leonora E. Teskey passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 28 in Edmonton, Alta. She was born in Appleton, daughter of the late Milton Teskey and Mary May. She was educated in the Appleton Public School, the Carleton Place High School and the Ottawa Normal School. She taught for many years in Ottawa, in Cartier St. School, Elgin St. School and Mutchmor. She was a member of Dominion United Church. She took a deep interest in various organizations, among them the United Nations, the Grenfell Mission, the Red Cross. She is survived by a brother, Aubrey M. Teskey of Langley Prairie, B.C., and a sister, Kathleen Teskey of Edmonton, Alta; also a nephew, John T. Forsythe of Pakenham, and his two children, Fred and Heather Lee Forsythe. Her health had been very uncertain for the last three years. She had been in Edmonton since August 1955. A private funeral service was conducted by the Rev W.D. Race of Ritchie United Church, Edmonton on May 1st. Cremation followed.
