A.K. Sutherland Dies
Word was received here of the death on Wednesday, July 13th, at Milwaukee, Wis., of A.K. Sutherland, a native of Ramsay Township. The remains will arrive at Carleton Place on Saturday on Saturday, July 16, at 4.30 p.m., and will be conveyed directly to the Auld Kirk Cemetery. About two weeks ago Mr and Mrs Sutherland visited the former's sister Mrs A.G. Young, and Dr Young of Smiths Falls and also spent a day in Almonte. Mrs Young was formerly Miss Maizie Wylie, daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Wm H. Wylie of Almonte.

Alexander married Mary Maitland "Maizie" Wylie in 1905. Mary (daughter of Cpt. William Hamilton Wylie and Margaret Maitland Wylie) was born on 29 Dec 1878 in Carleton Place, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; died on 17 Sep 1969; was buried in Auld Kirk Cemetery, Ramsay, Mississippi Mills, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
